I guess mine was okay. Was confusing and haven't seen any close friends yet. Luckily, I'm talking to one now and we're deciding where to meet tomorrow.
Anyway, feel free to talk about back-to-school blues here.

It was ok I guess. I had the first German lesson I actually understood properly in over 2 years! I also had drama which was absolutly great. My other lessons were okay, but I haven't had history yet.
When did you go back? We started on Tuesday.

Started Wednesday.
One thing I like about my high school is that we have block scheduling. Three classes one day, four the next. On the day with three classes, you get to go out early. Also, you get two days to do your homework.
Today, we got our P.E lockers (the locker room was HUGE), I got to show off my skills during English (the teacher gave us a definition sheet and I practically knew everything on it from memory), and the art teacher was great!
I hope Rachel isn't too busy to come on. Her school is a lot more academic and harder.

Ah, it was something else. It was very confusing like a nightmare.
So, I got to school by the way of a school bus. (explained later) It was a special education school bus, and the darn driver wuldn't let me of without a darn escort.
I am like, "I don't need one!" okay so I met my ade and was almost late to my first class, the alpha station, where you got your schedules.
I have 1 algebra Mr.K
2 drama Mr. B
3 spanish Mr. H
4 English mrs. s
5 p.e. mrs. c or coach c
6 biology mrs.v
7 unschedule
(v.i.) visually impaired Ms. S
8 helth mr. n
so I have block schedule, and I have odd one day and even the next.
The first day I went to all my classes.
1 Math was okay, mr. K just had a soft voice, and he seemed nice.
2 drama was a total laugh mr. B you know was a drama teacher, so naturally he is dramatical. So he acted everything out. It wasn't annoying actually. I liked it.
3 spanish was strange, my spanish teacher mr. H is a little bit strange, in a good way I guess. He was a little fatherly, or he seemed so, he is easy going, but is strict.
4 English didn't have any feeling to it, so I don't know. The teacher made it sound really really boring, and there seemed to contain many stupid reports.
5 Hmmmmmmmm, the p.e. teacher Mr. c reminded me of my p.e. teacher mrs. K. She also seemed like a McGonagall to me
6 Mrs. V I don't know, she just seemed really strict.
7 I only got bored, because it was unscheduled. My teacher taught me the campus a little more.
8 I had a home transportation issue, but when I was there mr. n seemed like a laugh.
So that's my day

How long do lessons last for both of you guys? Ours are an hour.
Most of my teachers I already know and they're all pretty good. My geography teacher is new to the school and although he's good at teaching geography he NEVER smiles, and for some reason I find it hard talking to people who never smile.
So far we've done mostly what each course will be covering and some introductory stuff.

It's an hour and thirty for me, and we went over sylabuses, and basic stuff.
1 algebra we started on order of Operations and distribute
pemdas
please excuse my dear aunt sally.
2 Ah, we went over rules and played the game where you squeeze each others hand.
we got around in about 2.46 seconds going to the right.
3 Yeah, isn't he fatherly. He sorta reminds me of Lupin from the HP series. It's just the teaching method. I thought I would like it, but it's kinda of creepy.
Lets see I'll put some words up here
la: the
el: the
Ooo I love this too
Ola: wave
!Hola!: hi!
hoy en clase: today in class
tomamos lista: roll call
Nombres: Names
Reglas de la clase: rules of the class
tarea: homework
nota: note
mija: my girl
Mijo: my boy
parate: stand up
sientate: sit down
?listos:? Ready?
numeros: numbers
apuntes: notes
Well, that's enough for now.
4 ah, just the basics. We filled out cards introduced ourself and all, when over rules and all, completed the paper about writing goals, went ahead to fill out reading record, and then shared our homework for our summer reading. It was funny, because no one knew how to answer my questions, and they were basically what each fic writer would generally come up with. e.g.
How successful will they turn out as thiefs?
this was for tom sawyer.
Okay, we played a name game with allteration, and I freaked out because I was the first one. I came with this.
Ruling Rachel!
It's sorta of true, I mod a lot, so in a way, I am ruling over members at times.
I was think of the ever stupid
Ringing rachel
5 we just when to get our locks and lockers. Then she bored to death with sylibusl.
6 Um, we had a SUB, and we went over stuff like rules, and procedures. Then we went on to the scientific method.
7 I just went home.
8 Um, lets see...
we went over the rules then we did a get to know you thing.

How long do lessons last for both of you guys? Ours are an hour. My classes are 90 minutes each. One is 93. Ugh...

Woah, that's a long time. No wonder you have so few lessons a day. Ours are 60 minutes each, unless you have double lessons in which case they're 120 minutes but that's quite rare.

If classes were 120 minutes I might consider dying, really. But it's only one hour and a half like I said before.

actually, I wouldn't mind computer classes being 120 minutes. I love computers!
Ya, I was the only computer nerd/geek in the spanish class. It was pretty funny, I was giving instructions on how to register on this thing called school loop.
Oh, one advice you all probably know, actually pick a password you can remember and not something huge like...

Yeah, I always do but very good advice anyway! My ICT lessons generally aren't too good, most of the teachers don't know what they're doing! Thankfully I have a new teacher this year who seems pretty good.

I know how you feel Rach. You know what's really stupid? I was teaching my Computers classmates how to navigate SchoolLoop. "How do we post?" "You see that thing called 'discuss'? That translates to talk so I'm pretty sure you click on that." Obviously, I didn't say that, but I felt like it.
Also, just one more:
Student: "Do we click send link to post?"
Me: "If you read a bit farther, you will be find the 'publish' button where you can make your post public for others to read."
Honestly, how hard is it to read the webpage and learn how to navigate it yourself? It has the words right there!

ROFL!
Me Loves that!
It's so funny, how incrediblly dumb some people can be today.
I mean "mind to read the page, and then go click things called buttons?"
I don't remember the exact conversation, but here
"mr. H and student
Mr. H: So who has registered on school loop?
Me: (raises hand)
Mr. H: how do you register on school loop, rachel.
Me: Um, you go to the (school name) web page, click school loop, and then you click register. There is a form and it ask for id: password: username: e-mail: password:, fill those out, and click register.
(siriously, that's how simple it was)
Mr. H: That's it?
Me: Yeah.
Mr. H: So, does have the password require anything?
Me: at least six letters and a number.
Mr. H: cool, all right. so class just do that, and make sure you have a schoolloop account by next time, and if you don't I'll give a little bit of time at the end of class next time.
riddiculous, someone dares to ask after class
student: I still don't understand, how to get on school loop?
Me: (thinking, totally riddiculous, how can you not understand, out loud) School loop, you don't understand, I can explain.
Mr. H: (talks to me for a minutes, about class stuff being brailled)
me: (explain to student.)
My aid Ms. E: Basically, it's filling out the forum, and reading the directions.
me: (in head, eeeeeeeeexactly!!!!)
