Just for fun. Any of you believe in ghosts? I used to be a very strong believer, but not much anymore.
Anyway, I asked because weird things have been happening lately. The first thing that happened was that my Mom was sleeping and I was walking by the bed to the bathroom. Just as I was about to go into the bathroom, she sits up suddenly and asks "Were you just on the bed?" Confused, I shook my head no. Then she asks if Sherlock, our dog, was upstairs. I said that he was outside. She told me that she felt someone on the bed. When I tried to ask her more later, she said it was like a nudge. That was odd, but it might have been the vibration of my walking.
Another thing was that Jennifer, my cousin, and I have one of those plastic playhouses outside. We had just recently cleaned the roof last week and I've seen the roof everyday up until now. Curiously, it was dirtied up again and had water marks like someone had a hose or it rained. It hadn't rained for days and if it was a hose then stuff inside would be wet. Strange, but we cleaned it and left it at that.
That was today and the last one was today too. My uncle and Jennifer needed to go on a walk and he asked me to watch after Emily, the baby. I gladly accepted. Basicly I was in the living room with Sherlock watching T.V. Their apartment in the back is very small. One living room/kitchen that's connected to a bathroom and a walk-in closet. There's a small bedroom connected to the living room by a small hallway. Anyway, shortly after using the bathroom, I walked out and checked that Sherlock was okay and suddenly I heard crying in the next room. Emily was awake! My only thought was to rush over. I hurried into the hallway and threw open the door. The only thing that meet me was absolute silence...I checked Emily and she was still sleeping.
I stayed there for a bit to make sure. She was fine and i could have sworn there was crying before I opened the door.
Anyway, Jennifer and I joke around about it. "It's the ghost!" and such. Not quite sure if I believe it. They could easily be concidences. Vibrations from the ground, dirt, and the T.V, but I was wondering if any of you believe and if you had or know a story of ghostly experience.

I'm sorry, but I had a hard time understanding the last part of your post. I think of understood most of it though ("I think" is the key phrase). Anyway, I used to really believe in this stuff in fact I would get so frightened I would stay up all night. I've gotten over it and we just joke around about it now. I'm just saying weird things have been happening. This is just a thread for fun, not to be taken seriously. If you don't believe in ghosts, you could say what you used to think or what some of your other friends think. For instance, I collect dolls (not Barbies, but porcelain). Jennifer gets really creeped out. She's even convinced that one of them is haunted (she doesn't have any proof yet). It's actually funny. Once in a while, she asks where each one came from. When she hears they came straight from a estate sale (sale of items after a person dies), she has the funniest look on her face! I can't help laughing!

it was like I took it as friendly ghosts, wasn't afraid of them or anything. Not all gosts are scary. I just use to think they lived all over my house, and would well, talk to random people or something, or blow a rassberry once in a while to make people laugh. Okay, I do admit it was silly. I thought I felt them by me, in my bed, it was silly like I said.
Then one day I realized the haunting ones were sycologic somehow. I never had a haunted ghost belief.

That's very interesting! Never heard of that before! I have heard of something similar. There was one kid who was telling his parents about the man who would help him at night. The parents were very worried, but the boy told them that all he would do is sit in a rocking chair and get him glasses of water. Apparently, he introduced himself as Abraham Lincoln. .

Yes, definetly a . Either that ghost was extremely bored, off his rocker, or Lincoln was really bored. I have another story similiar to that. While I was researching info about Disney's Haunted Mansion, I found a lot of info. Yale Gracey and someone else (I would have the name if I knew where the heck my book is) had a room together to explore concepts for the new mansion. These including going through ghost stories. Apparently, one of them spooked them out a lot and came from close friends. It was about a little boy who was visiting his cousins. When his family is about to leave about a long visit, his aunt asks him "What was your favorite part?" He answered, "The lady that read to us at night." The aunt is surprised since no one read to them and the kids are trying to shut him up. The aunt finally gets them to give in and they tell them about this lady who would come out of their wardrobe and read them stories. They said that she said as long as they didn't tell any adults, she would continue reading to them every night. The aunt was worried, but she needn't be since the lady didn't come anymore. After they did research about who previously owned the house, they came across a old photo. They showed it to the kids who said, "Yup, that's her." Don't know about you, but it sounds like they were playing a trick.
