Really, good luck, I am doing the homework for U.s. history, head aking, probably different views though! We had to write a mock sing about taxes, given by King George, but not very nice I know, but (sighs)

I find U.S. history really interesting and easy. Though my teacher doesn't give us enough time for our projects. U.S. history fires up the Patriot in me (that may be why I'm so good in it)! I'm actually related to a sort of, but not really famous person in the 1700s...I think that dude was a loyalist though...You know what, never mind.

I don't want to say his name online because his last name is my current surname, but he stayed here. In fact, the house he lived in is still standing (once again, I will not say it). He didn't move back to England as my family then moved to the Tennesse. I think that's why I have a good country accent. Then they moved to California later on and then my father was born and so on. Something like that. Also, sometime around the 1700s someone of my family married a Native American (I can be related to Pocahontas!). I have a really confusing, but very proud American heritage. I'm related to some other sorta famous people, but that's basicly it.

Cool! I have nothing like that in my family. Well, we might hav but I only know back to around 1800, or a bit past. Not much happens, except we're related to some french people who then moved to Ireland and then married into an english family and moved to England. That's about the most exciting thing.

That's cooler than my Mom's side. Her side is boring beside the fact that her family were immigrants and they used to live in New York. What I find really interesting is that my Mom used to have a New York accent when she moved to California and she completely lost it...I wonder what she sounded like before.

Oh, starbright that cool!
Jens, actually I can imagine your mom with one! since this is history homework help, can some please help me with song, for history. I hate writting songs, and is just awful at it. Long stories I can do, but songs nah!
So here we go, to the tune of Oh susannah. Man, I don't think it's very cappable of it though? Maybe help rewording it. If my facts are wrong you can correct it if you notice it's wrong
Making The Constitution Song
Once upon a day there was these congress people, who met in a convention,
They decided government is needed to unite this country in conditions,
that they all agree,
people started putting forth thee plans,
the debates started with a debate on the structure,
Hearing Virginia's plan,
Oh nay, it was hot and all,
the people still sat in the convention room and worked,
The ball falls on the New Jersey's court people make cheerful calls,
The constitution also talked about abandoning slaves,
some shouted nay,
the rest shouted yes,
The congress held the matter at bay,
for a while,
People owned at the time,
Some always knew it was wrong,
The decided to drop the matter until the set time,
Oh nay, it was hot and all,
The people still sat in the convention room and worked,
The ball fals on New Jersey's court people makes cheerful cals,
The hardest part comes at the end,
It was a okay by congress,
The congress men put it up for okays,
It was mass press time because of countless persuadsions,
The process is called ratificationd.
it was a rough decision
it was accepted by most and it came about as law, but at first most considered it like medication.
Oh nay, it was hot and all,
the people sat in the convention room and worked
The ball falls on the New jersey's court people make cheerful calls
So yeah, have fun, fixing it!

Erm, I think it's ok. I don't know if any of the facts are wrong because I've never done that. I think the lines would work, but again I'm not sure as I've never actually heard the original (me playing it on clarinet isn't that similar to what the song actually sounds like). Yeah, I think that's it.
Oh and about the last family bit, I have a friend is supposedly related to the Muslim prophet Muhammed. Her great-grandma got money from the Egyptian government for being related to him!

I don't have a religion, I'm agnostic (don't know what to believe). You?
Isn't that completely irrelevant?

I think the song is very good Rachel. Course there may be a few extra beats here or there, but I didn't notice at the least.
I don't know what your mean by the ball falling in New Jersey's courts and what about the Bill of Rights? Otherwise, that was very good. You should make up songs more often.
That's very cool Starbright! *mumbles* wish i got money for being related to people...
Wow, talking about getting off topic. I vote we leave the topic of religion.

Yeah, leave the religion thing for now. Just to let you know it's my FREIND who is related to him, not me. I'm plain boring and english, whereas she is a mixture of egyptian, dutch and english heritage. Sorry, there just seemed to be a bit of confusion about that.
