(OOC: Boy am I sad that not even one person has signed up yet, but I'm getting impatient. I thought that my good friend would sign up (you know who you are), but no. Anyway, I'll start and see if I can make it more interesting to y'all. If you find your interest peakin', you can still sign up in the Sign Ups board. Better do it quick 'cause as soon as we have enough players, the sign ups will stop and you won't be able to play. So enjoy! And remember to sign up before the chance's gone!)
Rain. That's all you can hear as you settle down onto the couch a dark Halloween night. Just rain.
Halloween was a night the whole town was expecting and the kiddies just giggle in joy when thinking about it, but no one expected it to be rainy. Don't worry, the kids got to trick-or-treat for a good time before the heavens poured, but it's clear you're not getting anymore calls tonight.
Being the only one up, the house seems more creepy then usual, but you ignore it was you scan the T.V guide. There's absolutely nothing on, but what can you expect. It's almost midnight and most folks are asleep.
Boring. Boring. True-Life Adventures? Sounds even more boring then usual. Boring. Boring. Bo--hey, what's this? The Twilight Zone? Isn't that that old television show in black and white and that creepy guy telling freaky stories? Well, it is Halloween and it's the only thing on. Sure, why not?
With a press of a button on the remote, the mentioned television showed flickered onto the tube with the so called "creepy guy" narrating the show.
"You unlock this door with the key of imagination," he begins, "Beyond it is another dimension.
"A dimension of sound.
"A dimension of sight.
"A dimension of mind
"You're moving into a land of shadow and substance, of things and ideas. You've just crossed over into the...
"The Twilight Zone."
You laugh at its old time cheesiness, and taunt the T.V, "'The Twilight Zone!' I'm so scared!"
Form outside, you heard thunder roar; almost as if daring you to taunt the show again. You stay quiet and continue watching.
"Hollywood, 1939," the host went on, "Amid the glitz and the glitter of a bustling, young movie town at the height of its golden age, The Hollywood Tower Hotel was a star in its own right; a beacon for the show business elite. Now, something is about to happen that will change all that... "
"Yeah," you say sacasticly, "People realized it was just a hotel and stopped giving it starring roles." The thunder roared even louder than before and you silence yourself.
The host's voice fades away as you find yourself so captived by what happens that it also seems like you're sucked in for moment that you even see everything in color...
(OOC: To be continued...Ooo! Once again! Remember to sign up! And don't post yet, there's still some more to the intro, I'll let you know when it's all clear.)

The television showed a scene deep down in a dark basement lit by only a few candles. A person stands at a table with a book, several bottles, and other objects on it. Despite the little candles, the face is completely hiden by the darkness and what he (or she) was wearing (it seemed to be a old time cloak.)
The person opened the book and started started reading it aloud in a whisper; almost as if afraid of being overheard, "Bring fire engery to pierce the the night. It is the midnight hour of ancient power. Dark light of the underworld, be my guide."
It was painfully obvious to see whoever it was was doing a spell. A dark one. It took out a piece of paper from its cloak and set it before one of the flames of candle.
"It's showtime," it whispered. You get a chance ot see it before it's turned into ashes:
You are cordially invited to a party at the Tip Top Club on the top floor of The Hollywood Tower Hotel on October 31, 1939 Seven-Thirty Sharp
(OoC: Jennifer's come back. I'll continue the rest of the intro later. Once again, there's still a chance to sign up and please don't reply yet.)

The screen then shows the ever popular Hollywood Tower Hotel. Thunder crashes, but it seems that it's not raining on the spirits of the party inside.
**
The Tip Top Club is full of excitied guys and dolls swing dancing. It obvious no one's having regrets coming. The Swing Band is jamming and the couples are in full swing.
**
"Hollywood Tower Hotel. Front Desk" the desk clerk answers the phone in the lobby.
Guests are all rushing to the elevator to get to the party, but one in a black suit seems to be waiting for someone. He plays a game of catch with himself tossing a petite black velvet box. His little game is interrupted when a Bell Hop bumps into him and drops it. The Bell Hop tosses it over his shoulder to which the disgrunted guest caught and the worker continued on his happy little way.
"Yes, be right up in minute sir," the desk clerk continues to talk on the phone.
**
The storm get more fierce outside.
**
The party is not disadrupted by the rain outside, but only seems to only intensify the excitement.
**
Back in the lobby, reporters with cameras are waiting impaitently.
"I think she's," one was saying to another, but he changed in the middle when his attention was caught by someone, "Wait. Is she on her way?"
The reporters clamor around the entrance waiting to get a good picture. The Bell Hop from earlier had to struggle through the thong with her suitcases.
A disgrunted woman with a stern expression follows him pushing reporters out of the way.
Followed shortly, it soon became obvious who the reporters were waiting for. A little girl with curly white blonde hair, blue eyes, and perfect little dimples in a darling pink dress made her way posing fr each camera.
"Tell us about your next movie Miss Shine!" many asked her, but she only smiled.
Some late reporters hurried over. A rejected little girl with brunette hair in braids, brown eyes, and a plain (almost ugly) brown dress trimmed with checkered green followed slowly after them and stood shyly peaking behind a potted plant.. She watched the other girl plainly; impossible to read her feelings.
**
The storm grew fiercer. Anyone looking outside would have been curious and horrifed at seeing the clouds turning spider green.
**
The party continued without a care in the world.
**
The bored guest in the loby gave up hs game of toss and leaned on the front desk bored. Just as he finished looking at the cloak, a beautiful woman in a silky white dress approached him and smiled. He forgot how long he had waited and only smiled longingly at her.
With their arms over each other, the two went to the elevator to get to the party.
**
With a tick, the elevator opened once again. A few tired partiers left the device. Quickly, the couple hurried to the elevator. At the same time as the Bell Hop so one of his suitcases bumped against the gentleman's knees. Rubbing his injured knee, the gentleman gave the Bell Hop a death glare.
The stern woman from before grabbed the little blonde girl in pink's hand and led her to the elevator with the crowd of reporters following and taking pictures.
The little girl couldn't resist so she walked off the elevator and gave the reporters a curtsy. The woman frustrated whisked her back on the elevator just before the doors closed.
**
It seemed impossible, but the storm was getting ever worse. The green clouds rained green rain and green lightening with a clash of thunder. No one yet noticed.
**
The excited pasengers in the elevator were talking to their group. The beatiful woman joked around with the gentleman she came with. The little girl smiled in anticipation at the stern woman, but she only frowned at her. The Bell Hop smiled and hummed to himself.
**
The party was still continuing despite the horrid storm.
**
The elevator was getting higher...Seventh Floor...Eight Floor...Why did it seem to take so long?
**
The swing band at the party kept their omnious, but swinging beat up.
**
Tenth Floor...Eleventh Floor...
**
The elevator creaked to a stop. The Bell Hop looked at confusion at the controls. He didn't stop it and they were between floors...
The lights flickered and it became obvious to the passengers that something bad has happened to the elevator.
The Bell Hop continued tried cranking the lever to make it continue, but the elevator only creaked and dangled more.
**
The party took no notice. Nothing was wrong to them.
**
It was raining even more than cats and dogs outside. It seemed impossible that a party could be happening in such weather.
**
In the Basement, the book flipped its pages as if a strong wind was blowing.
**
Instead the desired effect of going up, the elevator slowly lowered. Wide eyes were on everyone's face.
**
A clash of lightening outside strucked the hotel.
**
A bright light shined the on passengers as the lightenting struck only the elevator. The elevator let itself go.
(OoC: Still another part to go. Still a chance to sign up and please do not reply yet. The intro is still not done.)

The lightening crashes outside and you jump. You had almost forgetten all about reality. Shaking your head, you continued to watch.
The host walked in the basement where the mysterious person preformed their spell, "The time is now on an evening very much like the one we have just witnessed. Tonight's story on The Twilight Zone is somewhat unique and calls for a different kind of introduction. This as you may recognize is a maintenance service elevator, still in operation, waiting for you. We invite you, if you dare, to step aboard because in tonight's episode you are the star, and this elevator travels directly to...
"The Twilight Zone."
"What?" you asked confused.
But he went on, "You are a passenger of a most uncommon elevator, about to take the strangest journey of your life. Your destination...unknown, but this much is clear, a reservation has been made in your name for an extended stay.
"Wave goodbye to the real world."
Suddenly, a strong wind circled the room and you get sucked right into the screen! You see the man continued talking towards you.
"What happened here to dim the lights of Hollywood's brightest hotel is about to unfold once again. One stormy night long ago, five people stepped through the door of an elevator and into a nightmare. That door is opening once again, and this time it's opening for you...
"You are about to discover what lies beyond the fifth dimension, beyond the deepest, darkest corner of the imagination in the Tower of Terror. You are about to stay forever in the...
"Twilight Zone."
"But I don't want to go to the Twilight Zone!" you shout at him as you feel your self slip away again.
"There is no escape," for the first time, he replied back to you, "But one. Save the current residents of...
"The Twilight Zone."
Then everything faded away leaving only darkness.
(OoC: Almost done. Just need one more post before the intro is over. Once again, still a chance to sign up and do not post yet.)

(OoC: Sorry for taking so long! This will hopefully be the last post of the intro.)
You fall out of the sky onto some gravel road. Groaning at your ungracefully landing and rubbing your eyes, you slowly get up to see a large iron gate surrounding the Hollywood Tower Hotel which fate you had seen in the old tube. It was old and had been in the worst shape imaginable.
Looking around you see many people who seem like they just fell too. Just who are these people? Are they your enemies or allies?
(OoC: Finally! You can now post as your characters. Right now the gates are locked, but we'll see what happens.)

A overweight man with brown sideburns and small beard was walking up the road to them. He wore a green jacket with a little patch on one the arms. He wore shorts along with one of the shirts under the jacket that a tourist would ware. For his feet, he wore socks with sandles.
"What are you all doing here? Come for a ghost story?" he asked while starting to take out his keys.

The man waved them off, "Okay ghost story it is. That 5 dollars...per person." He unlocked the gates and swung them open.
"Come on in, come on in," he said, "By the way, the name's Chris Todd, but just call me Q. It stands for Quartermaster" He pointed to the patch on his jacket that had a large Q on it.
"You know, Halloween's the busiest time of year for me. Everyone wants to know about Sally Shine," he said.

"That's right," the man said to Rebecca while leading them onto the property, "My Great Grand Dude built this place. When Grand Dude disappeared along with Sally Shine and the other passengers on that elevator, Great Grand Dude was so freaked out, he closed the hotel and said that if no figured out what happebs, it would never be opened again (it was in his will). So when someone figures out that mystery, being the only living relative, I inherit the works. Cha-ching!"
